The High Priestess - 2
Sitting betwixt the pillars of positive and negative, usually hidden behind a veil that none may quite pierce, is the High Priestess, guardian and gateway to the knowledge beyond the veil. Note the symbol of the waxing, full, and waning moon on her headdress. The High Priestess is often seen as the Maiden.
The Empress - 3
This is the Mother. She brings fertility in both body and ideas. She can also represent the earth, and the abundance of life there on. She can represent also our sub-conscious.
