Tower The Fool's Journey

The Tower - 16

Remember the Titanic, the ship that "even God himself could not sink"? Or perhaps the Tower of Babel? Man builds wonderful things, and God or Mother Nature blasts them to bits, tumbling man back to the ground from which he started. This card can represent a sudden change, or a breaking free. Catastrophic change is not always bad, for oft times it is the only way to remove the inertia of a situation.

Star The Star - 17

Starlight, starbright, first star I see tonight.. Made any wishes on stars lately? Again, a woman pours water from two containers, but this time she pours both onto the ground, where the water flows into a bigger channel. Behind her, are eight stars and a tree. One way to think of the water is as if it were thought, or consciousness. A card with many subtler meanings.
