One is the first, the unity of all things. It is the source and destination of our lives, our endeavours, our creations. Each journey starts with one step. Each building with one brick.
The Ace's can also represent the archetype of each suit. The purest form of the disc, the wand, the staff. Some of the Ace's have taken on different meanings, especially the Ace of Spades (swords.) Swords being a usually negative suit, one can see why. The beginning, primordial, initiative, originality, potential, single-mindedness, unitary consciousness. |
